Job Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist will provide crucial assistance and support to the Sales team in achieving sales targets and maintaining customer satisfaction. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing sales orders, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring smooth sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently.
2. Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all required documentation is complete.
3. Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare sales proposals, quotes, and presentations as required.
4. Coordinate with internal departments (such as Marketing, Finance, and Logistics) to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order status using CRM software.
6. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with relevant teams to ensure product availability and delivery timelines.
7. Assist in monitoring and analyzing sales data, generating reports, and identifying trends or areas for improvement.
8. Support the Sales team in organizing and participating in sales events, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
9. Provide administrative assistance to the Sales team, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing sales-related documents.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors' activities to provide valuable insights and contribute to the sales strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably within a retail environment.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
4. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
5. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
7. Knowledge of sales processes, customer service principles, and basic sales techniques.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
